What about your breathing?

How much time do you think about the breaths that you're taking?

We take around 22000 breaths a day.

We may count our calories but have you counted how many breaths per minute you breathe?

We know the recommended daily calorie count but what about the optimum breaths per minute?


Set a timer for 30 seconds on your phone. Count and inhale and exhale as 1 breath. Try to breathe as you are, not changing anything. Count how many breaths in that 30 seconds then times x it by 2 and you have your breaths per minute score.


The optimal breathing pace is around 4-6bpm. That's our best breath diet.


Try getting some of that in your day! It's help increase HRV which is linked to longevity and increase oxygenisation. Over time, it'll help to increase your lung capacity.
